I drop some early thoughts on my first few hours with FFXV and also do an unboxing on the side. I'll for sure be doing a follow up video when I finally reach the 100+ hour mark. I am almost at 40 currently.

Typically when Imperials are showing up, it's when they aren't wanted. I am sure you just wanted to reach your goal mark but kept getting cut off by them. For whatever reason though, on this day...Noctis did not give a single f**k. Maybe this glitch video will give you a laugh...or nah.

LOL the same thing happened to me during that fight in the 2nd video, I was all confused when Cor was talking and Imperials just start flying down outta nowhere.

I'm sorry that I can't quote you atm Tiffany. So this glitch can be done over and over again! I did not know that. Have you come across any other funny glitches in your play through thus far?

I can't say anything off hand sadly. Tbh I didn't even remember that fight until you showed the video. But I want to say there were a few times (during the Train fight with all the snow? Don't want to give too much away ha ha) that there was another instance of Imperials dropping when it was a dialog scene lmao

Sometimes Prompto's machine crossbow sometimes ended up glitching and being stuck to Prompto's mid-section. Also, another time he glitched into the Regalia, and he was standing straight up with his arms in a pose like you would see in a model display video. Prompto took car surfing to another level lol.

I remember dealing with Deadeye back in the day during Episode Duscae. I have to say the fight got improved quite a bit for the main game. Imo it is also one of the stand out hunts within the game. I kinda wish a few other hunts got more attention to the level the Deadeye one had gained. Also, I deal with Nagi that gave me a ton of problems at first. I didn't think that a level 30 enemy should do 9,999 damage to me...but yeah that happened.


THIS FIGHT RIGHT HERE!!!!! This is the my 2nd most hype fight I have played in a FF mainline game. Even though I had six levels on Aranea, I was still getting rekt'd. When she would target Prompto aggressively, he was good as dead. This fight has just about everything I can ask for in a fight. Imo, this fight has the best scripted air combat sequence in the entire game.

Badass boss...check
Epic music...check
1 vs. 1 and team play sections...check

This could have been the final fight in the game, and I wouldn't have even been mad as long as stat adjustments were made. #AraneaBestFFXVWaifu

I finally got revenge on Aramusha that originally destroyed me when I first went into the dungeon. Also I dealt with something that gave me a flashback to FFVIII.

I love that all of Promptos machines are direct callbacks to Edgar's tools in FFVI.

I actually fought Aramusha twice last night, once in the mines and once as a bounty. The mine battle was insanely hard, even being 10 levels higher. I burned through a ton of potions and Phoenix downs. I am digging the royal arms crossbow though.

I'm guessing the last 4 tombs are only playable after I beat the game?

Chapter 13 pretty much turns out to be like a damn horror film playing out. It certainly is a different take from earlier parts in the game where things are more laid back. I didn't think the emperor would give me problems, but I was very very wrong. Being in a very tight area made evading a bit problematic at times. Ravus.....where do I even start with him. He hits like a damn train! If you're not over leveled/stated for the fight, it takes awhile to bring him down. I enjoyed both of the fights, but neither of them turned out how I originally thought they may have. The more I play FFXV, the less I feel like it's a straight ARPG, which isn't a bad thing at all for me.

YEEEES! Quetzalcoatl is easily my favorite lightning based summon in the mainline series.

Yea all the daemon Samurai-like enemies hit like a truck far as what I have experienced so far, and that just seems to come with the territory of that enemy type. Yes, after you complete the storyline there is a female you go to that will give you a key that will unlock them. There are 4 dungeons that you did need to complete before hand though.


Now if you're referring to Royal Tombs/weapons, those should already be all accessible by the time you reach chapter 13. Yeah, the crossbow is pretty nice. I've seen people combine it with Ignis' Overwhelm ability for some damage. Thanks for the FFVI info relation to the machinery names. I learn something new every day.

I still have to actually finish the game. I've been doing hunts like a madman to get the items for weapons upgrades. Part of me really wants to just finish the damn game already, but I keep getting sucked into every damn sidequest. I'm literally getting griffin feathers for the professors assistant as I'm typing this up

As of last week, FFXV got its 1.05 patch that ended the Carnival event. At this point in time, time limited quests will start making their way into the game. The first one consists of dealing with 100 cactuar like mobs. It's a good opportunity to get an easy 150K gil, 333 AP, and some exp. Prompto's Gravisphere is very helpful for this long battle. This is also a good time to max out most techniques that may not be maxed out yet that you may plan on using later on.

You shouldn't miss out on much of the missable banter then, which imo is the best part of the game.

I got around to doing the final battle within FFXV's campaign. I loved the music that was selected for this fight. Minor spoilers in vid:


lv. 140 Dread Behemoth is FFXV's current toughest enemy which is resistant to all weapons and magic except for swords and polearms. It took me like 23 minutes to bring down the foe, but the 999 AP and 9 Oracle Ascension Coins made it worthwhile for me. I also cover my thoughts on the cast of FFXV thus far.

Yeah multiple malboro together is a pain, especially if you don't have ribbons for all of the debuffs. From what I have read, the Gladio DLC is about 2 - 4 hours worth of content doing all the modes and the campaign. I think Mass Effect will take quite a bit longer. Either way, the DLC will still be around when you're ready to play it.
